Matthew - Pneumonia

Matthew is currently in hospital with pneumonia.

After a few days with only slight progress he is much better today, since he is now taking his medicine which he had previously unilaterally decided not to take (?).

Let's hope he is home over the weekend.

Jessica's First Day at School

Jessica started primary school today. She is attending Bauhinia ESF School in Lai King.

We took her to the school bus this morning and as the bus left she had a bit of a worried face (see the photos), but she has just called me to report that she had a "very awesome" day, and has made two new friends, has a bus buddy called Chloe and ate her lunch and put her lunchbox back to gether "all by herself".

We are all so proud of you, Jessica.

Our baby is growing up.

Ballet Performance at the Exhibition Centre

Jessica and her ballet school classmates performed in front of several hundred people on July 31, 2006 at the Games Fair in the HKECC. They were fantastic.

They even managed to get Neil perfoming on stage!

Vietnam 2006

For Neil's birthday we went to Vietnam. We spent a few days in Hanoi and then Nha Trang. We will definitely go back.

The Water Puppets in Hanoi were brilliant, as was the water park and the unusual find of a small, unlicensed childrens electric car driving circuit on a public square. Jessica had a hoot. We also went out on the lakes by peddalo.

Nha Trang was lovely as the resort we stayed at was fantastic. You can see the beach and pool (where we spent most of our time) in the photos

Very relaxing.

Neil's Birthday
